

We strongly believe that the meat from an animal which has had a happy and stress free life will be reflected in the eating quality. As we are in total control of all the animals which go through our butchery from birth to death we can ensure the meat you buy from us is of the utmost quality. We use a small family run slaughterhouse only a 20 minute journey away and this ensures that stress is reduced as much as possible.
Having our own on site butchery means that we have full control over the hanging of our meat, we ensure all our meat is well hung to ensure it is flavoursome and tender. Beef is hung for a minimum of 3 weeks.
We sell lamb and beef freezer packs, this is a great and cost effective way of buying a range of different cuts of meat to stock up your freezer. Come and visit our shop at Stud Farm which is now open Friday and Saturday mornings from 9.00am - 1.00pm.

Stud Farm Meats Small Taster Beef Box - £45.00:
Comprises of: 500g lean beef mince, 500g diced stewing steak, 500g braising steak, 2 x rump steaks, 1 roasting joint (min 1kg), 1 x slow roast joint (min 1kg), pack of 4 beef burgers.
Stud Farm Meats Medium Beef Box - £75.00:
Comprises of: 1kg lean beef mince, 1kg diced stewing steak, 1kg braising steak, 2 x rump steaks, 2 x sirloin steaks, 2 x fillet steaks, 1 roasting joint (min 1kg), 1 slow roast joint (min 1kg), pack of 4 beef burgers.
Stud Farm Meats Large Beef Box - £120.00:
Comprises of 1.5kg lean beef mince, 1kg diced stewing steak, 1kg braising steak, 4 x rump steaks, 2 x sirloin steaks, 2 x fillet steaks, 2 x roasting joints (min 1.5kg each), 2 x slow roast joints (min 1kg each), pack of four beef burgers.
Alternatively, tell us what you like and how much you wish to pay and we will make a pack up to suit your individual requirements. In addition we always have stocks of individual joints and cuts available to buy from our on farm shop.
Lamb Packs:
Lamb is sold either by the whole or half lamb - £65 for half a lamb and £120 for a whole lamb. Half a lamb typically consists of the following:
- 2 Leg joints plus some leg steaks
- 2 Shoulder joints
- Chops
- Boned and Rolled Breast
- Neck
- Lambs Liver
If you have any particular cutting requirements let us know at the time of order and we can butcher your lamb up exactly to suit your needs.
In addition to our freezer packs, we also sell individual cuts and joints of meat, and often have stocks of minced lamb, diced lamb, lamb burgers, beef burgers and sausages. So why not call in and see what we have in stock.
Pork:
As the majority of our pork will be going into the production of our Charcuterie we don't offer freezer packs of pork, however, we do aim to put a few joints, chops and sausages aside for sale. If you are looking for a particular cut let us know and we can arrange for our butcher to prepare it for you.
